No Pro Team in 2004

The LeMond Fitness/Captain
CRA-Z-Soap professional team will not continue in 2004. During the 2003
season the team competed on a modest budget, with hopes of a significant
increase in 2004. When that increase did not materialize, Kissena
Sports decided that it would be too difficult to field a pro team without
additional support.
The organization is now looking at putting
together a small amateur team for this year and a pro team for the 2005 season.
In 2003, we enjoyed a great many thrills at
races such as the T-Mobile International
San Francisco Grand Prix and the US Pro Championships in Philadelphia.
The team received an outpouring of support from cycling fans all over the US and
countless fan mail letters from around the world. We at Kissena Sports would
like to express our deepest appreciation to all of our sponsors and athletes for
making the season possible.
