DIRECTIONS TO PROSPECT PARK

From New Jersey, the South & West:

New Jersey Turnpike (95) or Route 78 to Route 1&9 to Holland Tunnel to Canal St exit. Take Canal Street straight across Manhattan to Manhattan Bridge. You will come off the bridge on Flatbush Ave. and continue until the large traffic circle (Grand Army Plaza). Go halfway around the circle and bear right onto Flatbush Ave. (the park is now on your right). Make the next right onto Ocean Ave. At the next corner (Parkside Ave.) make a sharp right into the park.  Then enter the Wollman Rink Parking Lot on your left. 

New Jersey Turnpike to Staten Island via Goethals Bridge or Outerbridge Crossing to Route 278 to Verrazano Bridge to Brooklyn Queens Expressway west to Prospect Expressway.  Take Prospect Expressway to 10th-11th Ave exit and make a left turn. Go straight to park & make a right turn to traffic circle. Go 3/4 way around circle & turn right onto Parkside Ave. At the corner of Ocean Avenue, make a sharp left into the park. then enter the Wollman Rink parking lot on your left. 

Interstate 80 to George Washington Bridge to West Side Highway / Henry Hudson exit. Head downtown to Canal Street and make a left onto Canal. Follow 'Holland Tunnel' directions. 

From the North:

Take New York State Thruway (Route 87) or New England Thruway (Route 95) to Major Deegan Expressway to Triborough Bridge. Then take Brooklyn-Queens Expressway West (Route 278).  Exit at Tillary Street and make a left on Flatbush Avenue Continue until the large traffic circle (Grand Army Plaza).  Go halfway around the circle and bear right onto Flatbush Ave. (the park is now on your right). Make the next right onto Ocean Ave. At the next corner (Parkside Ave.) make a sharp right into the park. Then enter the Wollman Rink Parking Lot on your left.

From Queens/Long Island

Long Island Expressway to Brooklyn-Queens Expressway west (Route 278). Exit at Tillary Street and make a left on Flatbush Avenue Continue until the large traffic circle (Grand Army Plaza). Go halfway around the circle and bear right onto Flatbush Ave. (the park is now on your right). Make the next right onto Ocean Ave. At the next corner (Parkside Ave.) make a sharp right into the park. Then enter the Wollman Rink Parking Lot on your left. 

Belt Parkway to Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to Prospect Expressway. Take Prospect Expressway to 10th-11th Ave exit and make a left turn. Go straight to park & make a right turn to traffic circle. Go 3/4 way around circle & turn right onto Parkside Ave. The park entrance will be at the corner of Ocean Ave - make a left into the park.
